About the workshop
The CS Track project is running an online workshop on Analyzing Citizen Science Projects using Web-based Tools. The workshop is about exploring a web-based tool (analytics workbench) that can be used to collect information about Citizen Science projects. It is based on the current work of the CS Track project. The analytics workbench can be used by the participants of the workshop to explore the landscape of online citizen science projects and to analyze projects with methods of text mining/analytics and social network analysis.
Date of workshop: 15th of March, 2022

About the CS Track project
CS Track is an H2020 project that aims to broaden our knowledge about Citizen Science and the impact Citizen Science activities can have. CS Track achieves this by investigating a large and diverse set of Citizen Science activities, disseminating good practices, and formulating knowledge-based policy recommendations in order to maximise the potential benefit of Citizen Science activities on individual citizens, organisations, and society at large.
The project observes and carries out analyses on a large number of different citizen science activities in order to increase knowledge about what makes such activities successful in response to a given set of research questions. It also provides web-based and other tools and frameworks for analysing citizen science activities in a wide variety of settings that can be used by the stakeholder community.
